The Festival Banters nominated charity for 2025 is Mountbatten Hospice - Isle of Wight.

 

As part of the planned fundraising activity we have created a short list of fun services which will be offered completely free of charge to all those donating 10 (ten) pounds or more. We have named this the 'Festival Banter 2025 VIP membership'. (FB25VIPM)

 

FB25VIPM will be offered to the first 50 (fifty) qualifying donations made on the Festival Banter just giving page. Donations made through other routes do not count as a qualifying donation for the purposes of this programme. Festival Banter reserve the right to increase the number of qualifying places available. If it is decided to increase the total number of places available, a group wide notification will be made on the Festival Banter Facebook Group.

 

It is not mandatory to receive FB25VIPM should you wish your donation to remain anonymous.

The Festival Banter admin team reserve the right to withdraw FB25VIPM should there be clear evidence of abuse of the services or unauthorised sharing of wristbands.

 

We also reserve the right to withdraw FB25VIPM from any member at its sole discretion should a member demonstrate behavior which may or may not reflect negatively on the Festival Banter group.

 

All VIP services offered are on a first come first served bases. No priority will be given to any member for any of the services offered.

No guarantee can be offered for camping space in the Festival Banter village area.

The Emergency Hug Service

This service will only be offered to VIP registered members located in the main arena only and will be available between 6-11pm on Thursday 19th June 2025, 11am-11pm on Friday 20th, Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd June 2025.

Each recipient will be asked to confirm their consent to be hugged prior to commencement.

 

To access the 'Hug' service a FB25VIPM should send their what 3 words location via the official Messenger group chat. Alternatively a direct message option will be available for those who do not wish others to know their location. The hug service will always be carried out in presence of at least one witness. Should a witness not be available, the service will either be canceled or re scheduled to a more suitable time when a witness is available. All witnesses and participants must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

 

At busy times we can not guarantee all requests will be answered and you may need to wait for an extended period. A maximum of 3 requests per FB25VIPM per day is allowed. 

 

FB25VIPM commemorative wristbands will be issued to all participating members and must be collected at the Isle of Wight Festival 2025 between Thursday 19th June at 6pm and Sunday 22nd June 6pm. The collection locations will vary throughout the festival and will be announced on the FB25VIPM Messenger chat group.

Any wristbands not collected by 6pm Sunday 22nd June 2025 will be forfeited. No wristbands will be mailed out to participants before, during or after this date.

 

No replacement wristbands will be available if lost, stolen or broken.

There is no cash equivalent value to this VIP membership

 

The Festival Banter VIP programme has no affiliation to the Isle of Wight Festival or its promoters
